
The case of violence in Murshidabad, West Bengal has now reached the Supreme Court. A PIL has been filed in the country's Supreme Court regarding this matter. In this PIL, a demand has been made to form an SIT under the supervision of the Supreme Court to investigate the Murshidabad violence. Apart from this, the petition also demands an explanation from the West Bengal government for its failure in the law and order situation of the state. Violence erupted in Murshidabad
In fact, after the Waqf Amendment Act was passed in both houses of Parliament, it became a law with the signature of the President. Since then, most of the Muslim organizations across the country are opposing this law. In this sequence, the protesters opposing the Waqf Act became violent in Murshidabad. The protesters also attacked the police team. During this, incidents of arson and vandalism also came to light. Three people died and many others were injured in the violence that broke out in Murshidabad's Suti, Dhuliyan, Shamsherganj and Jangipur areas since Friday. After this, BSF has also been deployed in the area.
Majumdar met the displaced people
Meanwhile, BJP's West Bengal unit president Sukanta Majumdar has accused Hindus of atrocities in this case. He also visited the relief camp set up in a school in Malda. He said that people from Murshidabad have taken shelter in this relief camp. He also met the people staying here. During this, many women met Sukanta Majumdar and cried. The victims say that "their houses were set on fire, property was destroyed and they were threatened with death. A woman has taken shelter here with her four-day-old child."
