The middleman woman who arranged the marriage was also in the car with the bride. On the way, the bride and her female companion stopped the car on the pretext of defecation and got off and started running.

When the groom and his companions in the car caught hold of the two, there was a ruckus. The police was called and the police took the runaway bride and her female companion to the police station. Here Vijendra Singh son of Bhoop Singh resident of village Mundla police station Chhajalat had done court marriage with Pooja Kaur from Rudrapur court and was taking the bride to his home in a Bolero car. Then Pooja Kaur and her Manju got down from the car and started running away.

After this, Anuj Singh from the boy's side caught the bride Pooja Kaur and Manju Singh after they ran for a long distance. Then both the women beat up Anuj Singh from the boy's side. During this, the groom and his companions reached the spot in a car and caught both the women. Anuj Singh informed the police about the entire matter through Dial 112.

The Dial 112 police team reached the spot and took the bride Pooja Kaur and Bijolia Manju into custody and took them to the police station. The police team is questioning both the women thoroughly. However, both the women are not able to tell their address and the entire incident correctly.
