News Topical, Digital Desk : An autorickshaw full of passengers lost control and collided with a parked truck near Kirari Gate on the Kanpur-Sagar Highway in Mahoba. Ten people, including a mother and daughter, were injured in the accident. Police admitted the injured to the district hospital and seized the autorickshaw. The driver, Suresh, was driving at high speed under the influence of alcohol, causing the accident.

According to reports, a horrific road accident occurred near Kirari Gate on the Kanpur-Sagar Highway in Mahoba district. Suresh, a 30-year-old auto driver from Bhatipura Mohalla, was traveling from Kabrai to Mahoba with passengers. There were 10 people on board. The driver, who was drunk, suddenly lost control of the vehicle and collided with a parked truck.

Four women and six men injured in road accident

Four women and six men travelling in the auto were injured in the accident. The injured included 50-year-old Ganeshi and her 18-year-old daughter Rajkumari, residents of Barigarh village in Madhya Pradesh, 30-year-old Kalavati of Barbai village, 62-year-old Prakash Tiwari of Mihona Muskura, 65-year-old Deendayal, 24-year-old Rohit, 30-year-old driver Suresh, 44-year-old Ramcharan of Bhugaicha Hamirpur, and 50-year-old Vati of Bararohi village in Madhya Pradesh. 

Police admitted the injured to the hospital

Upon receiving information, police immediately arrived at the scene and transported all the injured to the district hospital by ambulance. The injured passengers are undergoing treatment in the emergency ward. Police have seized the auto and launched an investigation. Locals and passengers claim the driver was speeding and driving under the influence, leading to the serious accident. The accident has raised questions about highway safety. The families of the injured are in a state of panic.
