The entire city resounded with chants of "Jai Shri Ram." The grand procession held on this auspicious occasion not only drew a sea of faith but also showcased a beautiful image of Hindu-Muslim unity and communal harmony.

At the Sri Sri 1008 Lakshmi Narayan Temple located in the historic New Galla Mandi complex, the deity was anointed with Panchamrit amidst the sound of conch shells and chanting of Vedic mantras. Following the birth anniversary celebrations, a grand procession of Lord Shri Ram was taken out.

MLA started the city tour in a grand manner by carrying him on his shoulders.

Regional MLA Rakesh Goswami, MLC Jitendra Singh Sengar, and grain merchants carried the Lord's palanquin on their shoulders, marking the grand beginning of the city tour. The procession's captivating symbolic tableaux and the specially commissioned "Nashik Band" mesmerized devotees. Thousands of young people, holding saffron flags and dancing to the beats of the DJ, were immersed in devotion to the Lord.

Ganga-Jamuni culture was seen in the procession.

The streets of Mahoba witnessed a remarkable example of mutual brotherhood during this time. As the procession passed through Muslim-dominated areas, Muslim youth gave it a grand welcome. Members of the Muslim community showered the devotees with flowers from rooftops and streets, and offered them sherbet, a powerful message of social harmony.

DM and SP gave shoulder to the palanquin

Given the sensitivity of the festival, the Mahoba district administration and police were on full alert. District Magistrate (DM) Gazal Bhardwaj and Superintendent of Police (SP) Prabal Pratap Singh personally took to the streets to thoroughly inspect the entire procession route and oversee security arrangements.

A particularly special moment occurred when the District Magistrate (DM) and Superintendent of Police (SP) personally carried the Ram Navami palanquin to send it off. This move fostered unwavering trust between the administration and the public. For security purposes, drone cameras and CCTV cameras were installed along the entire route.

Due to the vigilance of the administration and deployment of heavy police force (PAC and women police), this huge procession was completed in a completely peaceful and disciplined manner.
