Kartik Purnima Puja Rituals
On this day, wake up early in the morning and, after bathing, offer prayers to the Sun God. After cleaning the temple, spread a clean yellow cloth on the platform and place the idols of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi on it. Offer garlands of flowers. After this, light a lamp and perform aarti. Chant mantras. Recite the Vishnu Chalisa. Pray for happiness and peace in life. Offer fruits and sweets and other things. Finally, distribute the prasad among people and consume it yourself.

Chanting Goddess Lakshmi's mantras and reciting the Sri Sukta during worship on Kartik Purnima is considered highly auspicious. According to religious belief, this practice pleases Goddess Lakshmi, and her blessings bring happiness and peace to life. Furthermore, donations should be made to temples or the poor on this day. By doing so, one will never lack anything in life.
