These days he is busy preparing for Kantara Part 2. Meanwhile, he has got another big film. Rishab Shetty has got a big film with a Bollywood producer, which was being discussed a lot in the film circles for some time. Now finally it has been confirmed. The producer with whom Rishab is going to do a film is none other than Bhushan Kumar. He is going to make a dream project mythological film Jai Hanuman in collaboration with Pushpa producer Maitree Movie Makers. Rishab Shetty is in the lead role in the film. He will be seen in the role of Lord Hanuman for the first time.
Rishabh Shetty will play Hanuman
Jai Hanuman will be directed by none other than Hanu-Man director Prashant Verma. Prashant has released a statement about the Kantara actor joining the film. Calling the film a dream project, he said, “This film is not only about the immortal spirit of devotion and courage of Lord Hanuman, but also reminds us that power guided by faith can move mountains.”
Shooting may start soon
Talking about working with the actor, Prashanth Varma said, "I am excited to bring this grand vision to life with Rishab Shetty as producer Maitree Movie Makers and presenting partner Bhushan Kumar (T-Series)." Maitree Movie Makers and Bhushan Kumar are also happy with the casting of Rishab Shetty. This will be a pan India film whose shooting can start soon.
When will Kaantara be released?
Before starting the shooting of Jai Hanuman, Rishab Shetty will complete the work of Kantara Part 2. The sequel of the much awaited film Kantara is going to be released in theaters this year. Its worldwide release date is 2 October 2025. Rishab Shetty himself is directing the film being made under the banner of Hombale Films.
