In the Mahabharata period, Gadadhari Bhima used to observe the fast of Nirjala Ekadashi. That is why it is called Bhimaseni Ekadashi. The virtuous result of this fast is the same as all Ekadashis. According to the Vedic calendar, Ekadashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month will start on 06 June at 02:15 am. Whereas, it will end on 07 June at 04:47 am. Udaya Tithi is considered in Sanatan Dharma. For this, Nirjala Ekadashi will be celebrated on 06 June.

 

When is Yogini Ekadashi celebrated?

Yogini Ekadashi is celebrated every year on the Ekadashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Ashad month. On this auspicious occasion, the savior of the world, Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi are worshipped. Also, a fast is observed for Lakshmi Narayana . By observing this fast, the devotee receives the blessings of Lord Vishnu.

 

Yogini Ekadashi (Yogini Ekadashi 2025)

According to the Vedic calendar, the Ekadashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Ashadh month will begin on 21st June at 07:18 am. At the same time, the Ekadashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Ashadh month will end on 22nd June at 04:27 am. In Sanatan Dharma, the date is calculated from sunrise. For this, Yogini Ekadashi will be celebrated on 21st June.
