RVUNL Recruitment 2026: Application Deadline Extended to August 31 for 2,005 Posts Including Junior Engineer and Accountant

Rajasthan’s power utility companies have officially announced an extension of the application deadline for the major 2026 recruitment drive. Total Vacancy Breakdown Across Rajasthan Power Companies

The recruitment drive is distributed across five major state power entities: Rajasthan State Power Generation Corporation Limited (RVUN), Rajasthan State Electricity Transmission Corporation Limited (RVPN), Jaipur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited (JVVN), Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVN), and Jodhpur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited (JdVVN).

The 2,005 positions are divided into two main categories:

• Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II: 1,136 regular and backlog posts.

• Junior Engineer-I (JE-I): 869 total technical posts, comprising 727 Electrical positions, 110 Mechanical positions, and 32 Civil positions.

Eligibility Criteria and Academic Qualifications

Applicants must meet specific educational and professional criteria depending on the target position:

• Junior Accountant: Requires a bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration, or recognized equivalents like the ICAI Intermediate, MBA, or M.Com., alongside mandatory computer skills.

• Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II: Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary (Class 12th) Examination or its equivalent, coupled with recognized computer qualifications.

• Junior Engineer-I: Requires a full-time four-year engineering degree in the relevant discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil), a working knowledge of Hindi in the Devanagari script, and familiarity with Rajasthan's culture.

Age Limits and Application Timeline

The general age parameters require candidates to be at least 18 years old for ministerial posts and 21 years old for Junior Engineer roles, with upper age limits capped around 40 to 43 years depending on category norms and specific power companies.

Originally scheduled to close on August 25, 2026, the application and fee submission window has been extended to August 31, 2026.
