News Topical, Digital Desk : Following an order from the UP ATS, an investigation has been launched into government- and non-government-recognized madrasas operating in Fatehpur district. Fatehpur District Minority Officer Prashant Sahu has issued a notice to the district's madrasas following a request for details from the UP ATS. The Minority Officer has requested details of the teachers, children, and their families.
According to reports, the District Minority Officer inspected about half a dozen madrasas across the district. He collected information about the children's education and instructed the madrasa principals to submit the mobile numbers of the children's parents and the phone numbers of the teachers teaching at their schools to the department.

Meanwhile, teachers teaching in madrasas said they are supporting the ATS by providing the details they have requested. When asked about their concerns, they said they are always asked for all the details and information from time to time. They are supporting and cooperating.
What did the minority officer say?
District Minority Officer Prashant Sahu said that two days ago, UP ATS had asked him for information related to the madrasa, for which the principals of all the madrasas in the district have been instructed to submit the details of the children, teachers and their numbers to the department.
It was reported that there are a total of 111 madrasas in the district, of which 6 are aided and 105 are registered. The aided madrasas have 1,844 students and 88 teachers. The 105 madrasas have 757 teachers and 8,295 students. Teachers from all these madrasas have been asked to provide their mobile numbers and the children's guardian numbers. All details will be collected and sent to the ATS.
