On the other hand, actress Poonam Pandey has come out in support of it.
Poonam was seen cheering for Team India
Poonam Pandey has shared a video on Instagram in which she is standing on the streets of Mumbai holding a placard. The actress was seen cheering for the Indian cricket team. The actress captioned the video, “Went out on the crowded streets of Mumbai today, obviously made the fans excited and why?! Well, I am saying it loud and clear India ???????? will win.”

She further wrote, "All set for today's most controversial (more than me) cricket match!!! Are you ready?" She had two placards in her hand. On one placard it was written, "I am Poonam Pandey! I am alive and India is going to win! #IndiaWillWin."
Another placard read, "My controversies are longer than Pakistan's batting! #IndiaWillWin" In the video, we can see that some people on the streets were surprised to see Poonam. At the same time, some people joined her and cheered for Team India.
Raveena Tandon wrote her words
While Poonam, as usual, tried to stir things up by creating some drama, Raveena Tandon shared her opinion on the matter on X. She tweeted, "Okay, the match has begun. I hope our team plays with black armbands and takes a knee. Before winning."
