In a sweeping welfare initiative delivering direct financial and medical relief to security personnel across Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has officially increased the daily duty allowance for Provincial Rakshak Dal (PRD) jawans from ₹500 to ₹600 per day. This pivotal decision brings profound benefits to 31,000 PRD jawans statewide, including 622 dedicated personnel stationed in Hardoi.

The landmark announcement was made during a grand state-level PRD convention chaired by the Chief Minister at the Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium in Gorakhpur. To ensure widespread participation, a live stream of the event was organized at the Vivekananda Auditorium, where local officials, dignitaries, and jawans gathered to witness the rollout.

District Panchayat Chairperson Premavati, presiding as the chief guest at the Hardoi district program, formally shared the exciting updates with local personnel, praising their unwavering discipline and public service contributions.

Financial Allocations and Comprehensive Healthcare Schemes

Reinforcing the government's commitment to personnel welfare, substantial financial outlays have been sanctioned for the force:

  • Budget Allocations: A dedicated budget of ₹5 crore has been earmarked for the financial year 2026-27, alongside over ₹500 crore approved specifically for soldiers' duty allowances this year.

  • Infrastructure Development: Construction is actively underway for modern multi-storey barracks in Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow, backed by an investment of ₹22.95 crore.

  • Cashless Medical Scheme: The newly launched Chief Minister PRD Cashless Medical Scheme ensures that jawans and their dependent family members receive up to ₹5 lakh in free annual medical treatment across empanelled hospitals.

District Leadership Commends Personnel Dedication

Local administrative leaders congratulated the Hardoi PRD personnel following the announcement, inspiring them to continue executing their duties with utmost dedication, integrity, and discipline.
