The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially released a recruitment notification for 1,251 Livestock Extension Officer positions within the Uttar Pradesh Animal Husbandry Department. Educational Qualifications And PET Requirements
Applicants must possess a valid scorecard from the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET), as candidate shortlisting for the main exam will depend directly on PET scores. On the academic front, candidates must have completed Class 12 (Intermediate) with either Biology or Agricultural Science as a subject. Alternatively, holding a Diploma in Animal Husbandry and Dairying or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution fulfills the qualification criteria.
Age Limit Criteria And Category Relaxations
The minimum age requirement to apply for the Livestock Extension Officer post is 18 years, while the upper age limit is set at 40 years. Age relaxations in the upper limit will be granted to reserved category applicants, including Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD), as per Uttar Pradesh state government rules.
