'He leaks his films...', Pahlaj Nihalani made a serious allegation on Anurag Kashyap, said- 'It was his game':

News Topical, Digital Desk : Pahlaj Nihalani, who is counted among the veteran producers of Hindi cinema, was once the chairman of the Censor Board (CBFC), but after the controversy of the movie Udta Punjab, he was removed from this post and Prasoon Joshi was appointed in his place.

Pahlaj Nihalani somehow blames Anurag Kashyap for this because he was not ready to make cuts in Udta Punjab and there was a lot of controversy over it. Now in a recent statement, Pahlaj has accused Anurag of leaking his own films.

Producer got angry on Anurag Kashyap

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Pahlaj said, “They (Ekta Kapoor and her mother Shobha Kapoor) were going to accept the cuts. His (Anurag Kashyap) film was not getting much popular despite so many controversies. Then Jeetendra (Ekta Kapoor's father and veteran star) and the CEO of the production company also came to the office to get the certificate, to get the cuts. We even passed it where the language was needed, but where we found it unnecessary, we made cuts there. We removed the abuses, but did not remove a single frame of the film.”

Did Anurag leak videos of movies?

Pahlaj Nihalani accused Anurag Kashyap of leaking his films for profit. According to the producer, "He thought that the film had six days left for release, but it was not getting much success. This was Anurag's game, and he always did this. He used to leak videos, this is his business and he takes advantage of it." Pahlaj also said that Prasoon is the president but he does not go to the office.
