News Topical, Digital Desk : Following the horrific bus accident in Haripurdhar, Sirmaur district, Himachal Pradesh, on Friday (January 9), the state government and district administration are in full action. Given the severity of this tragic accident, a judicial inquiry has been ordered.
On Saturday (January 10), Himachal Congress Committee President and Renuka MLA Vinay Kumar, Sirmaur DC Priyanka Verma, and Superintendent of Police Nisheeth Singh Negi jointly inspected the accident site. MLA Vinay Kumar expressed deep condolences and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims. He also praised the important role played by local residents in the rescue operation.
Free treatment and financial assistance to the injured
MLA Vinay Kumar, speaking to the media, clarified that the state government is ensuring free and quality treatment for all the injured. Strict instructions have been issued to hospital management in this regard. As part of the relief efforts, the administration has released immediate relief funds of 25,000 rupees each to the families of the deceased. Administrative teams are deployed in hospitals to provide all possible assistance to the injured.
The judicial inquiry will be completed within 15 days.
DC Sirmaur Priyanka Verma said that a special investigation committee, under the supervision of SDM Sangrah, has been formed to determine the exact cause of the accident . This committee has been directed to submit a detailed report to the administration within 15 days.

It is noteworthy that on Friday (January 9), a private bus named "Jeet Coach" lost control and fell into a deep ravine in Haripurdhar . The bus was carrying a total of 66 passengers, exceeding its capacity. So far, 14 people have been confirmed dead in this horrific accident, while dozens are undergoing treatment in various hospitals in Himachal .
