Tiger Shroff Firing: Vidyut Jammwal Advises ‘Bajrang Baan’, Suniel Shetty Voices Alarm
The Hindi film industry has rallied in solidarity behind action star Tiger Shroff after motorcycle-borne assailants opened fire on his vehicle in Mumbai’s upscale Juhu neighborhood, sparking widespread outrage and prompting prominent Bollywood figures to voice serious concerns regarding celebrity security. Following the Sunday evening ambush—which left Shroff physically uninjured while his personal driver and a nearby pedestrian sustained gunshot wounds—the fraternity has strongly condemned the brazen gun violence on Mumbai's streets. Amid intensifying police investigations into organized underworld syndicates claiming responsibility for the strike, action powerhouse Vidyut Jammwal and veteran film star Suniel Shetty stepped forward on Tuesday morning, October 20, 2026, to offer public support and demand accountability.
Vidyut Jammwal Questions Fan Inaction, Urges Spiritual Armor Through ‘Bajrang Baan’
Posting an emotional video address on his official Instagram handle, action star Vidyut Jammwal expressed admiration for Tiger Shroff’s personal composure under deadly fire, describing him as the bravest and most fearless individual he has ever encountered. However, Jammwal directed sharp criticism toward the crowds of self-proclaimed fans gathered at the scene, questioning why none of the onlookers who profess unconditional devotion to movie stars displayed the civic courage to intercept or apprehend the fleeing gunmen after the shots were fired. Highlighting their close bond and an upcoming joint action film project currently in development, Jammwal advised Shroff to lean into his faith and spiritual grounding during this period of acute psychological stress, urging the actor to continuously listen to the Bajrang Baan—a revered Hindu hymn dedicated to Lord Hanuman for overcoming fear and warding off malevolent forces.
Suniel Shetty Sounds Alarm Over Mumbai Safety: ‘If It Can Happen to Tiger, It Can Happen to Anyone’
Echoing profound distress over the law-and-order situation, veteran actor Suniel Shetty voiced his concern in an interview with news agencies ANI and IANS, emphasizing the shocking nature of a direct attack on a family with such extensive public goodwill. Highlighting that Jackie Shroff and Tiger Shroff command immense affection and respect across all strata of society globally, Shetty remarked that if a prominent and beloved film family can be brazenly targeted in broad daylight in Juhu, it exposes the vulnerability of ordinary citizens and public figures alike. While expressing profound relief and gratitude that Tiger escaped physical injury, Shetty lamented the trauma inflicted upon the victims, reiterating that safeguarding the entertainment capital from renewed underworld intimidation requires swift and uncompromising state action.
