News Topical, Digital Desk : Manoj Tiwari on India Pakistan Ceasefire: Mutual agreement has been reached on India-Pakistan ceasefire. This was first confirmed by US President Donald Trump on his social media platform 'Truth', after which it was officially confirmed by the Indian government as well.
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has also reacted to this. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his social media platform X and wrote, “Many times people win elections... this time Modi ji has won the heart of India.”
Many parties welcomed the ceasefire.
After the ceasefire, many leaders are continuously reacting to it. While on one hand Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah has praised it, on the other hand SP and Aam Aadmi Party are also supporting this decision.
The tension started with the Pahalgam attack.
Let us tell you that as a retaliation for the 26 people killed in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, India demolished 9 terrorist hideouts in Pakistan. This action was carried out in the name of Operation Sindoor . In response to which drone attacks were carried out by Pakistan, to which India gave a befitting reply.
Foreign Secretary issued statement
On behalf of India, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri informed that today, on 10 May, from 5 pm Indian Standard Time, all kinds of firing and military action by the three armies will be stopped. Misri called it an important step towards peace.
After the news of the ceasefire, common people and political analysts across the country are calling it a positive and historic step. Experts believe that this initiative will not only be limited to restoring peace on the borders, but its far-reaching effects will also be seen on the relations between the two countries and regional stability.
