Gold Price Today on 31st august 2024: Gold prices have fallen on Saturday. Along with gold, silver prices also fell. The prices of both gold and silver have fallen in Indore bullion market. Gold fell by Rs 200 per 10 grams and silver by Rs 1200 per kg. According to traders, the average prices were as follows. Gold remained at Rs 73600 per 10 grams and silver remained at Rs 85500 per kg. At the same time, silver coin remained at Rs 900 per piece.

Gold and silver prices in Delhi

On Friday, the last trading day of the week, the price of gold in the capital Delhi increased by Rs 100 per 10 grams. Due to fresh demand from local jewelers, the price of gold in Delhi rose to Rs 74,350 per 10 grams. However, according to the All India Sarafa Association, the price of silver remained stable at Rs 87,200 per kg on Friday. Apart from this, gold of 99.5 percent purity rose by Rs 100 to Rs 74,000 per 10 grams.

Gold and silver price on MCX

On Friday, gold for delivery on October 4, 2024 rose 0.06 per cent or Rs 40 to close at Rs 71,651 per 10 grams on MCX. At the same time, silver for delivery on December 5, 2024 rose 0.04 per cent or Rs 38 to close at Rs 85,248 per kg.

Gold on a global scale

Globally, the price of gold closed with a big decline this week. Gold on Comex fell 1.28 percent or $ 32.70 to close at $ 2527.60 per ounce. At the same time, Gold Spot closed at $ 2503.39 per ounce, down 0.68 percent or $ 17.19.

Silver on a global scale

Silver prices have also declined globally. Silver on Comex fell 2.82 percent or $0.85 to close at $29.14 an ounce. Silver spot, on the other hand, fell 1.89 percent or $0.56 to close at $28.86 an ounce.
