4% to Touch Rs 1,605: Nuvama Sets Rs 2,036 Target Amid Strong US Expansion and Robust Order Book
Mid-cap electronics manufacturer Aimtron Electronics witnessed robust buying momentum on Wednesday, August 5, with its stock surging nearly 4 percent to trade at 1,605 rupees by midday. Backed by an impressive 135 percent return over the past year, the company commands a market capitalization of approximately 3,000 crore rupees. Leading brokerage firm Nuvama has maintained a bullish stance with a "buy" rating and an ambitious target price of 2,036 rupees, driven by a massive surge in the company's consolidated order book, expanding manufacturing footprints in the United States, and upcoming greenfield facility plans in Vadodara.
Robust Order Book and Strategic US Acquisition
Aimtron Electronics specializes in electronics system design and manufacturing (ESDM), catering to high-value, low-volume industrial sectors such as telecom, data centers, medical devices, defense, and robotics. According to recent brokerage reports, the company's consolidated order book scaled to roughly 604 crore rupees, bolstered by strong execution pipelines and its strategic January 2026 acquisition of US-based International Control Services (now Aimtron International Controls). The US unit, featuring four surface-mount technology (SMT) lines, reported a 36 percent year-on-year jump in its Q1FY27 order book, with management aiming to scale capacity utilization from 54 percent to 90 percent to unlock significant annual revenue potential.
Greenfield Expansion in Vadodara and Growth Projections
To support its expanding global footprint, Aimtron is developing a new greenfield facility on a three-acre land parcel in Vadodara, featuring six new SMT lines alongside in-house sheet metal fabrication and injection molding capabilities to optimize supply chain costs. Brokerage projections indicate that this facility could contribute up to 500 crore rupees to annual revenues upon full capacity utilization. While Nuvama projects stellar compounding across revenues and EBITDA through fiscal 2028, financial analysts remind investors to exercise caution following a massive 135 percent annual rally, advising them to closely monitor debt levels, execution timelines, and quarterly margin performance.
