News Topical, Digital Desk : Bulldozer action is underway on Thursday at the Imambara and Idgah in the district. Government land in the village of Bichhauli, along the Chandausi road, was encroached upon.

The Idgah, built on 12.25 bighas of land, and the Imambara, built on approximately two and a half bighas of land, were demolished. Four bulldozers were used for the demolition.

Crowds gathered at both places when a team of two revenue inspectors and seven accountants, led by SDM Nidhi Patel and Naib Tehsildar Deepak Jurail, arrived with police force.

People protested the arrival of the Imambara and Eidgah to demolish them. Police and PAC personnel dispersed the crowd. Later, for security purposes, police forces from five police stations, along with a company of PAC and the Rapid Relief Force (RRF), were also deployed. During the demolition, District Magistrate Dr. Rajendra Pansiya and Superintendent of Police KK Bishnoi visited the site to inspect the situation.
