According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Varun Dhawan starrer "Border 2" has a runtime of 200 minutes, which is approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes. However, the war drama's runtime may change once it's cleared by the censor board.

The makers of Border 2 do not want to reduce the length of the film.

The makers believe that it was necessary to keep the run time of Border 2 so long because they want the fans to know in detail about the war that they are showing in the film. Apart from this, there are four main actors in the film, Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty, the makers want to do justice to their characters as well. This is the reason why they kept the film more than 3 hours long. Along with this, the makers have also taken full care that every dialogue, scene and song of the film should be such that it does not let the audience leave their seats in the theatres.

Regarding the release date of Border 2, the film will be released in theaters worldwide on January 23, 2026, three days before Republic Day. Many Pakistani fans want the film to be released in the neighboring country as well.
