From 29 April to 1 May 2025, banks are going to remain closed for three consecutive days in many places. The reason for this is Parshuram Jayanti, Akshaya Tritiya and Maharashtra Day. On the occasion of Lord Parshuram Jayanti, there is a bank holiday on 29 April. However, there is a bank holiday only in Shimla on this day, in other places, banks will remain operational as usual.

Banks holiday for three days

Similarly, if we talk about Wednesday, i.e. 30th April, then there is a bank holiday in Bengaluru on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. Labor Day is celebrated on May 1 and it is also Maharashtra Day. On this day, while all banks in Maharashtra are closed, the stock market is also closed. On May 1, there will be a bank holiday in Bengaluru, Belapur, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kochi, Imphal, Kolkata, Nagpur, Patna, Panaji and Thiruvananthapuram.
