News Topical, Digital Desk : Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah issued a major statement following the state's connection to the Delhi blasts. Abdullah stated that all Kashmiris are being viewed with suspicion following the Delhi blasts. He added that people from Jammu and Kashmir are afraid to travel outside the Union Territory because they are all viewed as suspects due to the violent actions of a few individuals.

CM Abdullah said that due to the current situation in the state, parents are reluctant to send their children abroad. Omar further said that when we are viewed with suspicion from all sides, when attempts are made to defame us for someone else's reasons.

"When everyone is tried to be brought into the fold of what a few people have done, it's clear that it becomes difficult for us to step out," Omar Abdullah said at an event in Kulgam, South Kashmir. The CM added, "It doesn't feel good to say all this, but what can we do? This is the truth." 

CM Abdullah spoke about the Delhi blast.

Referring to the car blast in Delhi, CM Abdullah said that some people are responsible for whatever happened in the Delhi car blast, but the impression is being created that we all are guilty for it and we all are responsible for it. 

Abdullah further stated that he, too, thinks twice before driving a vehicle with Jammu and Kashmir registration into the national capital. He further added that nowadays, driving a vehicle with Jammu and Kashmir registration into Delhi is considered a crime. 

The CM further said that when there are not many security personnel with me, I think whether I should take out my car or not, because I do not know whether someone will stop me and ask me where I am from and why I have come there.

Delhi Blast15 people were killed in

Fifteen people were killed in the blast in Delhi on Monday (November 10). Several security agencies are investigating the case, including the Delhi Police Special Team, the NIA, and the Crime Branch. 

Since the blast, police have screened over 500 people from Jammu and Kashmir in Faridabad. In Faridabad alone, police have conducted screenings of people from Jammu and Kashmir as part of strict security measures.
