News Topical, Digital Desk : In the Chaubia police station area, a cousin raped an 11-year-old girl in a field, tarnishing the brother-sister relationship. The girl suffered injuries to her private parts and her condition worsened, requiring overnight treatment at a private hospital.

The family filed a complaint with 1090, accusing the police of failing to take action at night. Following this, on Thursday morning, the police registered a case, arrested the accused juvenile, and sent him to a juvenile home.

The girl's mother, in a police complaint, stated that her youngest of three daughters, an 11-year-old girl who studies in grade three at the primary school, had gone to the fields on Wednesday evening to graze goats. She was accompanied by other girls from the village.

It is alleged that a cousin living in the neighborhood called the daughter over on the pretext of getting her grass cut, lured her to a secluded spot, raped her, and fled the scene. Police were immediately informed, but the police took no action that night.

The daughter was taken to a private hospital for treatment, where she was treated overnight. On Thursday morning, the victim's mother filed a complaint with the women's helpline number 1090, after which the police registered a case and conducted a medical examination of the daughter.

Station House Officer Mahendra Singh stated that the girl's cousin, who raped her, has been arrested. As the accused is a minor, he will be sent to a juvenile home. Allegations of a lack of immediate action are baseless.
