Zepto Cafe: Zepto has played a new business bet and after this a tough competition can be seen in the food delivery market. Quick commerce company Zepto is now going to launch a new app for its 10 minute food delivery unit 'Zepto Cafe'. Zepto's co-founder and CEO Adit Palicha has announced on the social media platform X that the company's new offering in the name of Zepto Cafe is going to be launched next week.
Zepto will have 2 apps and you can order from both
The information that has come out about this Zepto app shows that people will be able to take advantage of this quick food delivery service through a separate app named Zepto Cafe. The special thing is that customers will also have the option to order coffee, sandwiches and other food items through the main Zepto app.
There is a possibility of new tough competition in the food delivery market
It is believed that this move of the company can create a new tough competition in the food delivery market. This is almost similar to what Zomato did through Blinkit. Zepto is also going to have these 2 entry points like Zomato did with its quick commerce arm.
The co-founder of the company has written in his ex post that
We are launching a separate app for our Zepto Cafe next week. This is a meaningful step and, while it may not be perfect on day one, it is important to launch it as quickly as possible. The cafe is growing rapidly and we will be launching over 100 cafes in a month and are already getting over 30,000 orders.
Competition is constantly increasing in the quick commerce and food delivery market
Amazon India is also going to enter the quick commerce sector. Under this, the goods will be delivered within 15 minutes. Amazon, a big company in the e-commerce sector, is now coming to the market to compete with Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, Flipkart Minutes, BigBasket. Like them, now Amazon is also going to join the quick delivery service.
