Varanasi News: The 46th convocation of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth of Varanasi was held on Wednesday. During this, the state's Governor Anandiben Patel, the state's Education Minister Rajni Tiwari and university administration officials, professors, students and other dignitaries were present. During the event, an incident happened which has now started a round of discussions. 

In fact, during the convocation ceremony, in the presence of the Governor and other dignitaries including the Vice Chancellor of the University, the power went off for a few moments. During this time, most of the people present there became uncomfortable for the stipulated time. The 46th convocation was being organized at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth in Varanasi. 

During this, a shocking incident occurred when the power went off in the presence of the Governor and the State Minister along with the University administration on the stage. After which the displeasure was clearly visible on the face of the Vice Chancellor of the University. Although after a few seconds the power supply was restored to normal, but due to this the people present there became uncomfortable. 

 

Negligence in the biggest program
Due to power cut, there was inconvenience for some time regarding the address on the mike. Now discussions are going on about how such negligence can happen in the presence of the Governor during the biggest program of the university. This time in Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, 97350 students were awarded degrees in graduation, 19056 students in post graduation and 98 students in PhD. 

Gold medals were also given to 18 meritorious students, out of which 12 medals were given to girl students and 6 medals were given to boy students. Governor Anandiben Patel wished all the students a bright future and advised them to work hard and move forward with a positive attitude.
