Heavy rains in the mountains caused heavy waterlogging in Bajpur. Heavy rains caused waterlogging between Khatima Yard and Khatima Banbasa stations on the Pilibhit-Tanakpur-Pilibhit rail section and the water level on bridge number 64 of Khatima-Banbasa rose above the danger mark. Due to this, Northeast Railway cancelled 05364 Lalkuan-Moradabad special train running from Lalkuan on Monday and 15056 Ramnagar-Agra Fort Express.
