These days, a slight cold is being felt in the morning and evening in the state. The weather is also getting better in the afternoon. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain in some districts of the state around Diwali, due to which there are chances of increase in cold.
This change in the weather of UP is being seen due to the Dana cyclone in West Bengal, due to which easterly winds are still blowing in the state. According to meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh, due to the effect of the cyclone, there may be light rain in Prayagraj, Varanasi division and Vindhya region today. Whereas the weather is expected to remain dry in parts of western UP.
Weather will change on Diwali
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be clear today on Tuesday, but in the coming two days, a slight drop in the minimum temperature can be seen. Due to which a change in the weather will be seen in the next few days. The cold will increase rapidly in the coming days. In such a situation, people need to be careful. Due to the change in weather, people are falling ill. The number of patients suffering from cold and cough is increasing. Doctors have advised people to be cautious.
In UP, there are chances of rain at one or two places in Prayagraj, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Varanasi, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Mirzapur and Sonbhadra today. At the same time, the minimum temperature of the state has started changing now. In the last 24 hours in UP, the lowest minimum temperature has been recorded in Muzaffarnagar, where the minimum temperature was 18.9 degrees Celsius, while the temperature in the capital Lucknow was 22.9, in Agra 20.5, in Meerut 19.4, in Varanasi 21.8 and in Prayagraj 24.0 degrees Celsius.
According to the weather department, cold winds will gradually start blowing from the beginning of November, after which the day temperature will also decrease and the feeling of cold will increase further due to cold winds at night. Winter may be at its peak between December and January.
