Anandi ben Patel New Record: A new record is going to be registered in the name of Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandi Ben Patel soon. This month, the Governor seems to be making a record in terms of her tenure as a governor. This new record can be registered in her name in the month of September. Under this, she will become the first governor with the longest tenure in independent India. 

Anandi Ben Patel is going to break a 39-year-old record in this matter. Before her, Dr. Bezawada Gopal Reddy had held the post of UP Governor for the longest time. He held the post of UP Governor from 1 May 1967 to 30 June 1972. Along with this, he was the Governor of UP for five years and two months. 

 

Anandiben Patel sets new record

Earlier, Anandi Ben Patel had recently made the record of being the second longest-serving governor. A few days ago, she had broken the record of former UP Governor CPN Singh. In the 80s, CPN Singh held the post of governor for five years and one month, thus he was the second longest-serving governor of UP, but now Anandi Ben Patel has broken this record. 

 

Anandi Patel has completed her tenure of five years, one month and 13 days in UP and now she has come to the second position. But soon she will also break the record of Dr. Bezawada Gopal Reddy, who holds the record of the longest tenure. 

Anandi Ben Patel took over as the Governor of UP on 29 July 2019. Since then she has been continuously posted here as a governor. Before this, she has also been the Governor of Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, she also holds the record of being the first woman Chief Minister of Gujarat.
