If you want to invest in fixed deposits, then in the last few days banks have made many announcements regarding their FDs. This includes new rates and special offers for FDs. One of these, Indian Bank, has extended the time limit for its special FD. On the other hand, Indusind Bank, IDFC First Bank and Karur Vysya Bank have changed their FD interest rates within the last 10 days. Indian Bank Special FD
Indian Bank has extended the deadline for its special FD. This deadline was ending on 30 November. But now investors will be able to take advantage of this special offer till 31 March 2025. These special FDs are for 300 to 400 days. For 400 days FD, a minimum of 10 thousand and a maximum of 3 crore FD is accepted. At the same time, the minimum limit for 300 days is Rs 5000. In this, 7.3 percent interest is being offered to general customers, 7.8 percent to senior citizens and 8.05 percent to super seniors. And which banks have changed the rates IndusInd Bank has implemented new rates for its FDs from 26 November 2024. These rates will be applicable on FDs of less than Rs 3 crore. The bank is currently offering interest rates ranging from 3.5 percent to 7.99 percent to general customers. Senior citizens are getting half a percent extra. That means the bank is offering a maximum of 8.49 percent. This much interest is being given on FDs between one year 5 months to one year 6 months. IDFC First Bank has also implemented new rates from November 26. The bank is offering interest ranging from 3 percent to 7.9 percent to its general customers and 3.5 percent to 8.4 percent to senior citizens. These FDs are for a period of 7 days to 10 years. The highest interest is being given on FDs between 400 and 500 days. The new FD rates of Karur Vysya Bank have come into effect from November 22. The bank is offering interest rates between 4 percent to 7.6 percent to general customers. The highest interest is 8.1 percent which senior citizens are getting on special deposits of 760 days.
