Dehradun. Petrol Bomb in Dehradun: Dalanwala Kotwali police has arrested two accused in the case of throwing petrol bomb at a woman's house.

Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh said that Mamta, resident of DL Road, had given a complaint that unknown persons riding a scooty threw a bottle full of petrol at her house from outside on the night of September 2. Considering the seriousness of the matter, a case was registered at Dalanwala police station.

 

 

CCTV footage revealed that the scooty used in the incident belonged to Gaurav Bisht, who was brought to the police station for questioning. During questioning, he told that earlier he had lodged a missing report of his wife in Dalanwala police station. Later, the police recovered her.

 

 

Mamta Devi's son Nitin is under suspicion regarding his wife's disappearance

Gaurav suspected Mamta Devi's son Nitin regarding his wife's disappearance. Nitin had messaged Gaurav Bisht's wife via Instagram to meet him, after knowing about which Nitin had a dispute with his wife.

Accused Gaurav along with his friend Abhinay Kumar came on a scooter and set a bottle full of petrol on fire and threw it at Mamta's house. Mamta's daughter came to know about the incident.

 

SSP said that it has come to light that the accused put a cloth in an empty bottle and burnt it and threw it away with the intention of scaring people. In this case, a case has been registered against Gaurav Singh Bisht resident of Karanpur and Abhinav Kukreti resident of Karanpur and they have been arrested.
