However, the company said that its revenue has not seen as much growth as expected.

The company's revenue from operations stood at Rs 22,301.6 crore in the second quarter as against Rs 22,515.9 crore in the year-ago period.

Today, the company's stock rose 5.52 percent to Rs 558 per share on BSE. On NSE, Wipro's stock rose 5.60 percent to Rs 558.40 per share. At 11.25 am, Wipro's stock rose 13.95 rupees or 2.64 percent to reach Rs 542.70 per share.

Status of Infosys shares

IT sector giant Infosys has also announced its September quarter results (Infosys Q2 Result). Regarding its financial performance, the company said that the company's net profit increased by 5 percent in the second quarter of the current financial year. However, this growth was less than the expectations of investors. Due to this, the company's shares (Infosys Share Price) fell by 4.50 percent today.

Infosys is among the top loser stocks of Sensex. The company's stock fell 4.50 percent to Rs 1,880.80 per share on BSE. The company's stock fell 4.44 percent to Rs 1,880.65 per share on NSE. The selling of shares also affected the market cap of the company. During the morning trade, the market cap of Infosys fell by Rs 31,327.94 crore to Rs 7,86,437.37 crore.
