Indian markets started flat in the first trading session of the week. On Monday, the Sensex opened at 79,324.75 with a gain of 101.64 points or 0.13%. Nifty opened at 24,032.70 with a gain of 27.90 points or 0.12%. Nifty Bank today closed at 50,926.10, down 62.70 points or 0.12%.
During early trading on Monday, the stocks of Bajaj Finance, Titan, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Auto and Shriram Finance topped the list of Nifty's fastest stocks. During early trading, these stocks rose from 2.34% to 0.95%.
Kotak Mahindra Bank, ONGC, Tata Steel, Power Grid and Tata Consumer Products stocks topped the list of Nifty's weakest stocks. These saw a decline of 0.71% to 1.42%.
