Offer water from a copper vessel only. Add red sandalwood, rice, red flowers and Kusha grass etc. in the water. After this, chant the Vedic mantras of the Sun God . Rath Saptami date and auspicious time (Ratha Saptami Shubh Muhurat)

According to the Hindu calendar, the Saptami Tithi of the Shukla Paksha of Magh month will begin on February 04 at 04:37 am. At the same time, this Tithi will end the next day on February 05 at 02:30 am. Udaya Tithi has importance in Sanatan Dharma.

 

For this reason, Rath Saptami will be celebrated on February 04. The auspicious time for bathing on this day will be from 05:23 am to 07:08 am.
