In such a situation, PWD will repair the Sarita Vihar flyover next month. It was first scheduled to take place in June 2023. PWD had recently sought NOC from the traffic police with certain conditions.

Traffic police said that the repairs will be done in four phases. During this period the entire flyover will not be closed. Half the lane of the flyover will be closed in one direction only, vehicles will continue to move on the remaining half lane. During this, people will have to face traffic jams in the same direction all the time.

A list of alternative routes is being prepared

Officials say that there may be a jam here during the repair work. Especially in Sarita Vihar, Badarpur, New Friends Colony, Kalindi Kunj, Okhla, and Faridabad, it may be difficult to reach. The traffic police have suggested alternative routes for the convenience of drivers.

These arrangements have to be made before starting the work

The U-turn on Road No. 13A will have to be widened.

PWD will have to appoint at least 10 marshals

Proper lighting will have to be arranged along with the signage board.

Heavy machines will not be allowed to be brought here during that time.

Debris will not be kept on the road during repair work.

Repair of a part of the elevated road will be completed soon

Also, the repair process of Noida Elevated Road is going on at a fast pace. A major part of road construction in a one-kilometer area has been completed. Only the bed and one layer are left. Authority officials claim that the work will be completed by April 30.

Repair work is going on on the elevated road from Sector 18 to 61. At present, the area from Sector-28 in front of Visva Bharati School to Sector-24 ISKCON Temple is being worked.
