Firozabad News Today: CBI has conducted a raid in Firozabad and arrested the bribe-taking clerk of the post office red-handed. After this action of CBI, there was chaos in the office. The accused bribe-taking clerk is posted as Assistant Post Master in the post office. 

Actually, this entire case is from the South Police Station area of ​​Firozabad. There is a post office located in Suhag Nagar here, the Assistant Post Master posted in this post office was demanding bribe to withdraw the TDS amount. The victims had complained about this to Anti Corruption.

Bribe demanded in lieu of TDS
In this regard, the victim told that Devendra Pal Singh was a resident of village Jato of Tehsil Sadar and he was working as a teacher in the Basic Education Department. Devendra Pal died due to illness. The TDS of the deceased teacher Devendra Pal was being deposited in the main post office located in Suhag Nagar. 

The victim said that after the death of Devendra Pal, his family members started trying to withdraw the amount of Rs 3 lakh TDS deposited from the post office account, but the Assistant Post Master posted here, VK Singh started harassing them by demanding bribe. 

Complaint lodged in ACB
The family of the deceased teacher kept visiting the post office repeatedly, but the Assistant Post Master was adamant on taking bribe. They got fed up with the antics of the Assistant Post Master. After this, the family of the deceased teacher lodged a complaint against the Assistant Post Master in Ghaziabad's Anti Corruption Unit for demanding bribe.

The CBI made a special plan to catch the accused Assistant Post Master. For this, before the raid, the CBI team fixed a time and date for the victim to give bribe to the Assistant Post Master. 

Caught taking bribe of 10 thousand
During this time, some members of the CBI team along with the victim reached the Assistant Post Master who was demanding bribe. On the spot, they offered a bribe of 10 thousand rupees to the Assistant Post Master. As soon as the bribe was taken, the CBI team immediately raided and arrested the Assistant Post Master red handed while taking the bribe.

After the CBI's action against the bribe-taking Assistant Post Master, there was chaos among the government employees of the district. After the arrest of the Assistant Post Master, the CBI team interrogated him for more than 4 hours in a closed room of the post office.
