Tel Aviv: On Saturday, Hezbollah carried out a drone attack on the residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel. However, Benjamin Netanyahu was not at his residence at the time of the attack and no one is reported to have suffered physical harm in this attack. Now, Netanyahu's statement has come on the Hezbollah attack. He said that Iran-backed Hezbollah has made a serious mistake by trying to kill me and my wife today.

We will harm those who harm us

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that this war against our enemies will not stop and will continue to secure my or Israel's future. He reiterated once again that I tell Iran and its supporters and its representatives present here that anyone who tries to harm the citizens of Israel will have to pay a heavy price.

We are committed to the safety of the people of Israel

PM Netanyahu said that we will continue to root out terrorists and those who send them. We will bring our hostages home from Gaza and we will return our citizens living on our northern border safely to their homes. Israel is committed to achieving all our war aims and changing the security reality in our region for generations to come.

The prime minister and his wife were not at the residence at the time of the attack

A drone attack took place on the residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel on Saturday. The Prime Minister and his wife were not at the residence at the time of the attack. Lebanon's Iran-backed organization Hezbollah has been blamed for the attack. An investigation has begun into the warning siren not sounding before the attack and the failure of the air defense system. The Israeli Prime Minister's office has said that this drone attack took place on Netanyahu's residence in Caesarea, a city on the Mediterranean coast. Before this, a large number of rockets and drones were fired on Israel from Lebanon.

Ballistic missile fired by Houthi rebels from Yemen

Most of these were destroyed in the sky by the air defense system, but the system failed to destroy the drone targeting Netanyahu's residence. This mistake has increased the concern of the Israeli security system. Earlier in September, a ballistic missile fired by Houthi rebels from Yemen had traveled more than two thousand kilometers and came close to Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport. This was almost the same time when Prime Minister Netanyahu's plane was about to land there. The air defense claimed to have destroyed this missile.

One man killed in Hezbollah attack

On Saturday morning, Hezbollah also attacked northern Israel with 55 rockets and drones. A 50-year-old man was killed and four were injured in this attack. The deceased was sitting in his car when a piece of a rocket destroyed by the air defense fell on the car, badly damaging it. Meanwhile, the Israeli army has claimed to have killed Hezbollah's deputy regional commander Nasser Rashid in Bint Jbail town of southern Lebanon. In another incident, two people walking on the road in Beirut were killed in an Israeli air strike.
