Baghpat Today News: A sensational case has come to light in Baghpat where a Muslim youth trapped a minor girl in a love trap and gang-raped her. It is also alleged that the Muslim youth made a class eight student read namaz along with tying a hijab through video call. The accused youth wanted to marry her after converting her religion. After getting the information, when Hindu organizations and the girl's family demanded strict action against the accused, the police registered a case against three accused and arrested the main accused youth Rizwan and presented him in the court and sent him to the district jail.

This 15-year-old girl, a resident of a colony in Baghpat city, studies in class 8. She suddenly went missing from her home at 7 pm on August 2. The girl's family members say that when they went searching for her, they reached Waseem's house in the same locality and found her in an objectionable position with Rizwan. When they brought their daughter home, Rizwan, along with his brother Roju, came to their house with Waseem and tried to kidnap their daughter, but they did not let that happen.

Police arrested Rizwan, accused of rape 

The victim's family alleges that the accused youth wanted to convert their daughter's religion and marry her. The accused had taught their daughter so much that she spoke their language. The accused also made her offer namaaz through video calls on mobile. They have also seen her offering namaaz once or twice. The girl's parents say that the accused have also raped their daughter. On the other hand, after this matter came to light, the workers of the Hindu organization reached Baghpat police station and staged a protest. A case has been registered against the three accused on the complaint of the victim. The police have arrested the main accused Rizwan, while the two absconding accused are being searched for.

CO Baghpat Harish Bhadoria said that on 31 August 2024, a case was registered by Gulshan at Baghpat police station, in which Rizwan, Wasim and Roju were named. All of them are residents of Mata Colony Baghpat, against whom Rizwan has been accused of doing wrong things with the minor girl and luring her and taking her away with his friends. The main accused Rizwan has been arrested and sent to jail. The remaining accused are being searched. Soon the remaining accused will also be arrested and necessary legal action will be taken.
