New Delhi. In Hinduism, the day of Masik Durgashtami is considered very auspicious. Goddess Durga is worshipped on this day. It is believed that those who observe fast for Mata Rani on this day, go to her temple and offer her red chunari, coconut, they get the full blessings of the goddess. Along with this, happiness and peace comes in life. This festival is celebrated every month on the Ashtami Tithi of Shukla Paksha (Masik Durgashtami 2024) .
This month this fast will be observed on 14th July, 2024 i.e. today. According to religious beliefs , reciting the Mahishasuramardini Stotra of Mother Bhagwati on this day is also considered very fruitful,
