ucknow. All international flights of Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport will take off from Terminal 3 from Friday midnight. Currently, these international flights are being operated from Terminal 1. Lucknow Airport Administration completed the preparations to shift international flights from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 on Thursday.

All international flights after 12 midnight on Friday will operate from Terminal 3. Flights of Fly Dubai, Air India Express and Indigo Airlines will take off from Terminal 3 between 6 am and 7:30 am. 

Indigo Airlines, Air India Express, Saudi Airlines, Oman Air, Thai Air Asia, Flynas, Salam Air and Fly Dubai have prepared their boarding counters for all their international flights departing from Terminal 3. 

Immigration and customs offices have also been shifted. International flights operate from Lucknow to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Dammam, Riyadh, Jeddah, Muscat, Ras Al Khaimah and Bangkok. 

A spokesperson of CCSI Airport said that Terminal 3 was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video conferencing on March 10. Akasa Air had shifted its domestic flights to Terminal 3 from March 31. After this, on April 21, all domestic flights have been shifted to T-3. 

Terminal 3, built at a cost of about Rs 2400 crore in the first phase, has a capacity of 80 lakh passengers per year. By the end of the second phase, this capacity will increase to 1.3 crore passengers per year. Terminal 3 will provide employment to more than 13 thousand people. There will be an aerobridge and a bus boarding gate for passengers of international flights. 

There will also be an option of another aerobridge if required. There will be deployment of customer service associates and signage to assist passengers of international flights. Metro connectivity is available at Lucknow Airport. Now efforts are also being made to make it a multi-modal travel hub with intercity electric bus service and app-based taxi services.

Foreign guests are also admirers

The beauty of Terminal 3 of Lucknow Airport is reaching across the seven seas. Many foreign guests have already clicked photos of Terminal 3 and posted them on the internet media. This includes Jonty Rhodes, Kevin Pietersen and even the High Commissioner of Australia.
