This is the Parthasarathy temple of Chennai, which is located between Tiruvallikeni and Triplicane of the British era. It was mainly built by the Pallavas in the 8th century and later it was constructed by the kings of Vijayanagara. In this Dham, Shri Krishna with a moustache (Murli Manohar Temple) is worshipped. Apart from this, this is the only temple in India (Ancient Krishna Temples) , where Krishna is worshipped as the preacher of Gita, a glimpse of which can be seen in the temple.
The water of the wells here is more sacred than the river Ganges
Let us tell you, the foundation of this mysterious Dham was laid by King Narasimhavarman I. Along with this, its name is derived from the sacred pond around it, which has five sacred wells. It is said that the water of these miraculous wells is more sacred than the river Ganges.
