Lakhimpur Road Accident: A mother and her two sons died in a road accident on the western end of JBganj bypass on Lucknow-Delhi National Highway 30. Two other members of the family were injured in the accident. The accident took place near Maa Vaishno Petrol Pump in village Jalalpur of Uchhauliya police station area.
While trying to save the e-rickshaw, the Brezza car broke the divider and collided with a container coming from the other side. Dinesh Chandra Upadhyay of Kurmanchal Nagar, Lucknow was going to Rudrapur with his wife, sister-in-law and two sons.
Three died in the accident
The accident took place on Sunday morning at around 11 am. Dinesh Chandra Upadhyay's wife Vimala Upadhyay (60), son Deepak Upadhyay (40) and Rajiv Upadhyay (35) who were seriously injured died by the time they reached Pasgawan CHC.
Accident happened while saving e-rickshaw
Sister-in-law Vimala Upadhyay (60), wife Buddhi Vallabh Upadhyay and Dinesh Chandra Upadhyay have been sent to Shahjahanpur. Both of them are out of danger. The car was being driven by the younger son Rajiv. This accident turned fatal while trying to save an e-rickshaw.
