A horrific incident took place in Harohalli of Ramnagar district of Karnataka. A newborn baby was flushed down the toilet of a hospital. The body of the baby was found in the toilet located on the ground floor of the hospital.

When a blockage was noticed in the toilet, the cleaning staff and plumbers were called in to fix it. While they were fixing the line, they first thought that some cloth was stuck but later it was discovered that the dead body of a newborn was stuck.

The body was taken out with the help of equipment

According to the police, the cleaning staff, plumbers and others present there were shocked to see the dead body of the newborn baby. The body was taken out with the help of equipment used to remove the material causing blockage in the toilet. The body was completely swollen, due to which water started flowing to the floor.

Inquiry has been initiated in this regard

Police suspect that the accused may have tried to hide the fact of the birth of the child. People are angry over this incident. Police have started investigating the case and have started interrogation in this regard. Police are examining the CCTV footage of the hospital for clues about the activities of the accused.

Police is investigating every angle

Police said they have not received any complaint about the missing of the newborn and they suspect that the mother is involved in the crime or the baby has been brought here from some other place. Police have sent the body for post-mortem. The post-mortem report, CCTV footage and other detailed information are awaited.

Mother accidentally killed her daughter

Let us tell you that earlier on November 6, a one-month-old girl was found dead in an overhead tank at her grandparents' house in Bengaluru.
