According to the Vedic Panchang, the full moon date of the month of Falgun will start on March 13, 2025 at 10:35 am. At the same time, it will end the next day i.e. on March 14, 2025 at 12:23 pm. According to the Panchang, Holika Dahan will be done on March 13, 2025. Along with this, the auspicious time of Holika Dahan will be from 11:26 pm in 2025 to 12:29 am the next day on March 14.

 

Why auspicious works are not done during Holashtak?

According to astrology, it is believed that all the eight planets become inauspicious during Holashtak. Therefore, the position of the planets during this period is not favorable for auspicious works.
