Gyanvapi Case: Today, a hearing was held in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division (FTC) Yugal Shambhu of Varanasi regarding the original case of Gyanvapi case, the original case 1991 Lord Swayambhu Vishwaeshwar vs Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee. In which the main demand has been made by the advocate of the Hindu side, Vijay Shankar Rastogi, that an ASI survey of the entire premises of Gyanvapi be conducted. So that information can be obtained about the real religious form of the existing site. During this, Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee has raised strong objections while presenting its side. Now the Civil Judge Senior Division has fixed the date of October 19 for the next hearing.
Advocate Vijay Shankar Rastogi, on behalf of Lord Swayambhu Vishwaeshwar, told ABP News that the Muslim side has strongly objected to the ASI survey of the entire complex. He says that we have received an order from the apex court that no tampering should be done with the current structure. Now we are against any additional survey. The Hindu side has also put forward its argument on this subject that we also agree that there should not be any tampering with the current structure. Instead, the reality of the original site should be ascertained without damaging the current structure with the help of penetrating radar (underground scientific technology) 100 meters away from the original site. So that we get information about the real religious nature of the current site.
The hearing on October 19 is very important.
On this matter, Ikhlaq Ahmed, on behalf of Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee, said that we have presented our side in the court and we are no longer in favor of any survey in the Gyanvapi campus. Now the hearing on this will be held in the Civil Judge Senior Division Court of Varanasi on October 19 at 12 noon. This day is considered very important for the hearing of the original case related to the Gyanvapi case. It is expected that the court may reserve the decision on this matter based on the demand related to ASI survey in the entire premises of Gyanvapi.
