Mahoba News Today: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is organizing the PCS examination for the first time in Mahoba. In this sequence, preparations have been completed to conduct the PCS examination 2024 to be held on Sunday (22 December) in Mahoba in a fair, transparent and peaceful manner.
The nodal officer of the exam, DM, SP and other administrative officers of the district inspected all the exam centres and checked the arrangements. On the day of the PCS exam, shops selling electronic goods will remain closed near the exam centres in Mahoba as a precautionary measure. Arrangements for accommodation along with help desk have been made for the convenience of the visiting candidates.
DM-SP did the inspection;
for the first time, Mahoba district has been made the center for PCS examination by the Public Service Commission; hence, the administration is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination. Before the examination, under the leadership of Mahoba's nodal officer Mridul Chaudhary and Superintendent of Police Palash Bansal, all the administrative officers visited the 10 examination centers set up in the district and inspected their security arrangements, lighting, CCTV cameras and sitting places of the candidates etc.
PCS exam schedule
During this time, Mahoba District Magistrate Mridul Chaudhary said that a total of 4128 candidates will appear for the exam at 10 examination centers set up in the district. This exam will be conducted in two shifts. He said that the candidates will have to reach the examination center 45 minutes before the scheduled time.
District Magistrate Mridul Chaudhary said that help desks have been set up at the bus stand and railway station for the candidates coming from outside, with the help of which the candidates can easily reach their examination center. He said that camps have also been set up at different places for the candidates to stay.
District Magistrate Mridul Chaudhary said that camps for the candidates will be set up near the examination centres so that the candidates do not face any kind of problem. He said that separate arrangements for buses have also been made to take the candidates to the examination centres.
Heavy police deployment has been made at the examination centres
. Officers are following the guidelines issued by the Public Service Commission to ensure that the PCS examination is conducted in a fair, transparent and peaceful manner. To ensure that there is no disturbance in the examination, Superintendent of Police Palash Bansal said that on this occasion, instructions have been given to maintain law and order as well as traffic system.
To ensure that the students do not face any problem in commuting, barricades have been put up at various places and traffic police has been deployed so that no obstruction of any kind occurs on the way. Apart from this, centres have been set up at various places.
Electronic goods shops around the examination centre will remain closed. Heavy police force has been deployed at the examination centres. Police is working vigorously to ensure that the examination is conducted safely and fairly.
