New Delhi: Be it real life or reel, Karan Johar has no match in making couples. First he made Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt a pair on screen and in real life, now he is coming with a fresh pair in his new film to be made for the digital platform. His production house Dharmatic Entertainment is now making a romantic comedy film, in which R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh will be paired.

The film will revolve around an older man and a young woman

According to sources, the film will be a quirky love story revolving around an older man and a young woman. The film will be directed by Vivek Soni, who has previously directed the Meenakshi Sundareshwar film.

The shooting of the film may begin in October

Radhika Anand, writer of Broken But Beautiful and The Fame Game web series, and Jahan Handa, writer of the Showtime show, have written the story of this film. Both of them have given Madhavan a chance to return to his romantic image through his writing after a long time. The shooting of the film can start by the end of October.

This will be Karan's third project this year

Karan is in talks with Netflix for this film. If the deal works out, this will be Karan's third project this year which will be made for Netflix. Earlier, Netflix has already given the green signal to Konkana Sen Sharma and Pratibha Ranta's film and Karan's show based on airline theme.
