Why did the engineering student send notice to the makers?

VV Vagisan, an engineering student from Chennai, has sent a legal notice to the makers of Sai Pallavi's film 'Amaran'. The reason behind the notice is said to be his mobile number. Vagisan says that after watching the film, Sai's fans are calling him continuously. He is upset with these phone calls and all this has happened due to the mistake of the film makers. So now he has demanded Rs 1.1 crore from the makers as compensation.

In which scene was the personal number shown?

According to a report in 'The Hindu', a romantic scene is shown between Sai Pallavi and Sivakarthikeyan's character Sindhu Rebecca Varghese and Major Mukund in 'Amaran'. In the scene, Sindhu throws a paper towards her hero on which her mobile number is written. In the same scene, student Vagisan's personal mobile number is shown on the screen. Now Sai's fans are continuously calling the student and demanding to talk to the actress.

Having trouble sleeping and studying properly

VV Vaageesan, in a legal notice sent to the makers, said that he has faced many problems due to this mistake. Talking to the media, he said, 'Since the release of the film, I am unable to sleep, study, do my daily chores. As soon as I turn on my phone, unknown people start calling me. I am also unable to book a cab and make/receive calls'.

'Can't change number'

Through his lawyer, Vaageesan has sent a legal notice to the producer and director of the film demanding that his phone number be removed from the film immediately and that he be paid ₹1.1 crore as compensation for the inconvenience caused to him. He said, "I don't want to change my phone number as it is linked to my Aadhaar, bank cards and other educational platforms."
