Delhi Traffic Advisory: Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh will perform at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on 26th and 27th October at 7 pm. A huge crowd is expected to attend the singer's show. In view of the huge crowd, Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory. 

Spectators will be allowed entry from Gate No. 2, 5, 6, 14 and 16 of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Gate 1 and 15 have been reserved for emergency reasons. Parking arrangements have been made for those coming by vehicle. According to Delhi Traffic Police, parking arrangements will be made at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Complex, CGO Scope Complex, Sunhari Pulla Bus Depot, Seva Nagar Bus Depot and Khush Nala. Heavy vehicles will not be able to run on BP Marg from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Red Light for two days.

Before going out in Delhi, know the traffic police updates 

The movement of heavy vehicles will be banned from 4 pm to 11 pm on 26 and 27 October 2024. Delhi Traffic Police has advised people to avoid BP Marg, Lodhi Road, Lala Lajpat Rai Marg and roads around Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from 4 pm to 11 pm. According to the traffic police, emergency vehicles including police, ambulance and fire brigade will be exempted.

Use public transport to avoid traffic jams

People have been advised to use public transport to avoid traffic jams and reduce congestion. Traffic rules will remain in force in view of the live music concert 'Dil Luminati'. It is worth noting that Diljit Dosanjh's Dil Luminati India Tour will take place in 10 cities of the country. After 26-27 October in Delhi, Diljit's next show will be in Jaipur on 2 November, Hyderabad on 15 November, Ahmedabad on 17 November, Lucknow on 22 November and Guwahati on 29 December. The traffic police has made extensive arrangements around the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
