A suspect in the attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has been detained from Chhattisgarh. According to initial information, RPF has caught him. After the attack on the actor, Mumbai Police had shared the picture of the suspect. On the basis of this photo, the person has been detained.

Meanwhile, a big news related to this case has come out. Actually, according to official sources, the accused in the Saif Ali Khan attack case had changed his clothes near Juhu to avoid arrest. He had taken this step to escape from the police.

Let us tell you that the first picture of the suspect who allegedly attacked the Bollywood actor at his Bandra house had surfaced by noon after the incident which took place in the early hours of Thursday. The police have formed several teams to investigate the matter and trace the criminals involved in the incident.

Suspect arrested from Chhattisgarh

A suspect who attacked Saif Ali Khan was arrested from Durg in Chhattisgarh on Saturday. After receiving input from Mumbai Police, RPF detained him from the general compartment at Durg Railway Station. According to preliminary information, he was going to Bilaspur. After the arrest of the suspect, a team of Mumbai Police reached Raipur Airport. Mumbai Police officer Pradeep Fude is also included in the team. From here, a team of Mumbai Police is going to Durg. It is expected that on Sunday Mumbai Police can take the suspect with them to Mumbai.

Regarding the entire matter, Durg RPF in-charge Sanjeev Kumar Sinha said that two teams were engaged in the search of this suspect. Mumbai Police had reported that the suspect was in the Gyaneshwari Express. Based on this information, RPF jawans started searching the general compartment when the train reached Durg station.

He said that a suspicious young man was found sitting in this compartment, after which the RPF made a video call to Mumbai Police on WhatsApp after which the identity of the person was confirmed. RPF said that the young man was going to his relative's house in Champa and was travelling without a ticket.

Let us tell you that Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked on Thursday midnight. An unknown person entered his house and attacked him with a knife. Immediately after this, he was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Now his condition is absolutely fine and he is out of danger.

The police have registered an FIR in the case under sections 311 (robbery or dacoity with attempt to cause death or grievous hurt), 312 (robbery or dacoity with attempt to cause death or grievous hurt), and 331(4)(6)(7) (Punishment for house-breaking by house) of the BNS.
