Bihar Film Conclave: A one-day Bihar Film Conclave will be organized by the Department of Art, Culture and Youth, Patna at Hotel Taj on Friday. 65 eminent artists from the five major languages ​​of the state and Bihar will participate in this program. The purpose of the conclave will be to give information about the Bihar Film Policy to the artists. Also, people will be given detailed information about the policy to get maximum benefit from it.

Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Art and Culture Department Vijay Kumar Sinha will attend the program as the chief guest. Department Secretary Dayanidhan Pandey and departmental officials will be present with him. The secretary said that the terms and conditions of film production in Bihar and giving an amount of Rs 4 crore to the artists of Bihar for films, web series, TV serials and other digital content creation will be explained.

Many opportunities will open for the artists of Bihar

In this, if artists from Bihar are given a chance, an additional amount of up to 50 lakhs will be given even after 4 crores. All the procedures for this have been completed. Instead of taking NOC from different places for shooting, a single window facility is being provided in the department itself, so that artists and directors will not have to wander here and there. The department will provide NOC from here by coordinating with different departments.

On the other hand, if art loving students from Bihar take admission in colleges like NSD, Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute and Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), their entire course tuition fees will be borne by the department, which the students do not have to return. In the program, the criteria for awarding artists in the upcoming film festival will also be discussed. 

'Employment opportunities will also increase in the state'

The secretary said that if film production starts in Bihar, then employment opportunities will increase in the state. Talented artists of the state will get a chance to showcase their talent. Along with this, the annual income turnover of the state will also increase. In view of the development of film production, a proposal to build a film city will also be put forward in the coming days. A lab will also be built for editing new films.
